Forrest Gump is one of my favorite films of all time. There is one scene in Washington DC where he is about to speak but a military man pulls out the wires for the microphone. You can't hear him talk and all you hear is murmurs from the crowd. I always wondered what was said and according to Tom Hanks, this is what was said: "Sometimes when people go to Vietnam, they go home to their mommas without any legs.
