Trans Keith x Lance headcanons

When Keith told Lance he’s trans Lance assumed he meant he was a trans girl and responded by saying “oh that explains the mullet”
It also made him happy that Lance the thought of Keith previously being female didn’t seem to be an option to Lance
Lance is HELLA supportive and was already pretty educated on the topic but made sure he knew everything when they started dating
He reminds Keith to take off his binder, obviously
Massages are a common occurrence because Keith’s back always hurts like a bitch on days where he has to stay at school later
On days where he doesn’t bind at all Lance is always happy to give Keith one of his hoodies because they’re bigger and hide his chest
And they’re comfy and smell like Lance
Lance loves to hype up Keith when he tries new looks or puts extra efforts into his outfits
Lance, crying: what did I do to be blessed with a king like you
Calling Keith handsome is his absolute favorite thing to do
Keith gets super flushed and buried his head into his hands (or Lance’s shoulder)
Keith surprisingly loves to be called pretty
Lance always makes sure to emphasize that Keith is a pretty boy
Lance enjoys painting his own Lance but sometimes Keith let’s him paint his too when his dysphoria is low
He always chooses black but sometimes Lance will add little details in red
It makes Keith happy because hell yea!!! His Boyfriend did that!!!
Most would assume that Lance would be the super supportive bf and help Keith with his T shots
He’s VERY scared of needles
The first time Keith did it in front of him he was like “oh it’ll be fine it’s not like I’m the one being injected I can do this”
Keith jammed the needle into his thighs and Lance passed out
Lance tried tho so that alone makes Keith very happy
Lance forced Keith to make an Instagram so he could send Keith the significant other appreciation posts
Keith doesn’t post anything he just looks at whatever Lance sends him and animal video
Keith also finds dysphoria memes hilarious
Lance sends them to him too
Lance’s family is also very supportive!! They love Keith very much and him being trans didn’t faze them at all
Mrs. McClain will fight anyone that dares to even look at Keith the wrong way
One time the school suddenly decided to start giving Keith shit again about the whole bathroom thing even tho Keith was well into his transition and couldn’t look like a girl if he tried
The second Mrs. McClain heard about it she drove to the school and made sure to give them hell
Needless to say, Keith will never have a problem again

They wore matching suits to prom except Keith’s shirt, tie, etc. were red and Lance’s were blue
Lance cried when he saw Keith in his suit
Keith loves to be a stereotypical boy
Lance had Keith teach him how to throw knives
He loves soft oversized sweaters and being a Soft Boy™️ but he also loves Nike clothing and just looking like a typical teen boy because hell yea he’s a teen boy
Lance shaves his legs regularly and Keith refuses to get within 10ft of a razor
Lance has to forcefully take care of Keith’s eyebrows and sideburns tho because they’re messy and he’s not letting that happen
Keith is also greasy as fuck so Lance pampers him with skin care stuff and makes sure that he has a routine
Keith bought axe body spray just to piss Lance off and you know it
Keith is stealth but within his friend group it’s constant trans jokes
Lance’s niece makes Keith a friendship bracelet with the trans pride flag
Except the pink and blue strips are switched but he doesn’t care. He wears it around his ankle and refuses to take it off
She also makes him a rainbow keychain and he has it proudly dangling from his (Nike, of course) backpack
