I have always struggled with my self image. And figuring out I'm trans made it worse. My body does not match the image of myself in my head.

Sooo I made a thing. I haven't been on here in a while thanks to a busy schedule but I figured this was a good place to try and get this around with how many LGBT+ people frequent this site.

I'm a trans guy. And broke as hell so I can't afford to even look into the much needed top surgery. It would mean the world to me if you guys could show support, whether it be donating $50 or even just $1. Hell, even just a share so more people could see this would help tremendously. I can't do this alone. I appreciate anything!

I had my tenth shot of T yesterday but it was also my first shot giving myself. I normally have my best friend's mom do it since she's a nurse but this is the first time she was unavailable. I was gonna get a friend to do it but decided it was a good chance to practice it myself as I'm sure there will be plenty more times where I will have to do it myself. Wasn't as bad as I thought honestly. Maybe I'll save gas and do it myself again next time.

Saturday, July 7th

Went to the metro clinic to get my second dose of T but they were closed. Luckily though one of my best friends mom is a nurse and was willing to give me it instead. Found out we accidentally gave me .6 last time instead of .5. So I got .4 today but hopefully .1 isn't enough to mess with me. Also, I am now out of T but I'll call the pharmacy I used last time tomorrow and see about getting more. Also need to get alcohol wipes as I can just put those in the plastic case I keep it all in. That's a lot better than carrying a bottle of it and a big bag of cotton balls.

So far, the only physical thing I've noticed is a bigger appetite, thank God, I struggle with eating enough, and my face is a little more greasy so I'm working on getting a good daily skin care routine that will work for me since I'm also bad at washing my face everyday.

Two weeks down, the rest of my life to go 👍 I better glow the fuck up

December 5th 2018

Went to have blood drawn for being six months on T. Found out they got a new system and my appointments didn't get transferred over correctly so I had to have them redo it and now I have to leave like right after lunch instead of just a half hour early on Monday to talk to my Dr about my blood. Oh and the lady poked me twice to get blood. She decided to use a different vein than the normal one because "that one hurts more". But she couldn't get blood from that one, even after moving the fucking needle around in my arm. So she went to the original vein but on my other arm. I think she just didn't know how to draw blood from a patient with a half sleeve tattoo 🙄 I wish I had the lady who drew my blood the first time. She had absolutely no problem with my tatted arm. Didn't even need to move the bitch around. All this nurse did today was cause me extra pain for the same amount of blood as normal

Realized I hadn't done this in a couple months and I have noticed a small change in my voice but I didn't know it was this much 😍

So I'm now on my fifteenth week of testosterone. I've been slacking on my workouts so there's not much muscle gain. I do have some extra hair growth, a little on the upper lip and a small happy trail. I haven't noticed much change in my voice which I'm a little impatient for but I gotta remember everyone goes through it at their own pace. So far I've been doing really well with fending off the acne that's known to go along with transitioning. I wipe my face at least once a day, minimum. So, it's not happening as quickly as I want, but I am happy with my progress that I do have and can't wait to see what else is gonna happen.

FTM

so, this is like my third or fourth tumblr and I’ve never been able to fully get into it but I want to document my transition somewhere welcoming and figured this was a great place. So, I’m a trans guy. ThatFunnyTransGuy to be exact. I’m 23 and about to have my first psychologist appt this tuesday, the 12th of June, 2018. I should be getting my referral to start T and a referral for top surgery, so I then must find a good surgeon to perform it. I’m excited and scared at the same time. I only just started my transition but I already can’t wait for it to be over with.
