That whole dream/fantasy sequence with Madison at the ranch. And Nick and Luci are visiting Alicia’s grave with their newborn (my heart breaks)
This scene is the complete opposite of what actually happened. In reality, Nick and Madison are dead. Luci and Nick never have a child. And Alicia is the only surviving Clark member.

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD SEASON 1-3 VERSION OF NICK SAY THAT! HE HATED HIS MOTHER. COULDNT BARE TO BE AROUND HER, TO THE POINT THAT HE TOOK RELAPSED.
Yes, I feel like this change could be explained by the possibility of Nick thinking he had killed his whole family after the dam explosion but the point is that WE DONT KNOW THAT FOR SURE. BECAUSE THEY NEVER EXPLAINED IT. This is simply just a headcannon that we have all decided is what happened because that is what makes sense.
It is never good when the fans have to come up with their own version of events because the writers have failed to explain to them what has happened to their favourite characters.
