travis manawa is not the most terrible dad however he’s also not that great of one, i think like last week i watched that scene where he’s talking to chris about befriended bryce and all those guys and i thought it was funny but also fucked up how chris was like “remember what you’d say when i got bullied?” and travis very proudly was like “yeah i told you to just fit in” NOOO taht is not what you’re supposed to tell your kid dude i thought that was common knowledge ?? and then it feels like that scene is supposed to show how he’s a good dad when it does the opposite

finally decided to rewatch ftwd and damn. i really was polypilled at a young age because why was my immediate thought for the travis/liza/madison drama at 11 years old to immediately make madison and liza kiss and for all three of them to end up together. also had the insane idea for chris to become madison's favorite kid who does everything right compared to her bio ones because once the triangle gets resolved chris is a bit weirded out by it at first but also he loves pissing off travis more so he does the most to make madison take his side and like, support his ideas. idk i just love the idea of madison just being like alright. me and your mom and dad finally resolved this shit so lets try this happy blended family thing and also btw im making out with both of your parents and im your new 2nd mom so get ready for me to do horrendous atrocities in your name the way i do for my bio kids. while also just all of them going batshit crazy like in canon. including liza. girl was cutthroat when she wanted to be. in no world do i think she resisted the batshit ideas meter.

Friends, you won't believe it, I can't believe it myself—but the first chapter is written!! Well, actually the first two, because I thought it would be cool and dramatic to have the opening kill be a single chapter. 

I've never written many of these characters before and have no idea if I've interpreted them correctly - so please give me feedback!!! 

Also, I seriously underestimated writing suspense. I mean, action, fear of death, fighting—well, I tried. I hope it gets better when I write a few more action scenes. I can see my ideas in my mind's eye, but how do I write them? I think I just need to make a movie (hire me for Scream 8). 

I also tried to include some movie references in the style of Scream. I hope they were smooth and not too forced!
