Comparison of photoshopped Zerrie engagement photos
After long discussions with lsmoments (thank you for all your input), I decided that I should make one more post to this Zerrie photoshopping drama.
Let's compare these four pictures with each other and the Getty originals:
1) 1st Mirror picture from the first engagement article ever to emerge. (published on 21st of Aug 12:59, no source) x
2) 2nd Mirror picture from their second engagement article. (published on 21st of Aug 15:14, source tagged Getty) x
3) 3rd Mirror picture from their third engagement article. (published on 21st of Aug 19:33, source tagged Getty) x
and finally...
4) The infamous tumblr edit from here
Now first of all, lets debunk the idea that tumblr edit was the original photo. Compare it with the picture number three. Not only it's most likely a cropped version of that Mirror photo, there's also some changes with its colouring.
Now that's done, let's concentrate on comparing those Mirror photos.
As you can see the second Mirror photo is clearly cropped from the third Mirror photo, even though it's published first.
But the thing is, that the first photo and the third one aren't exact copies of each other:
Let's compare the first and the third picture.
Concentrate on areas marked with red rectangles. They are not similar with each other, right? And as this post has basically proved, the third picture was definitely photoshopped. But doesn't it look like the first one is photoshopped as well? Both pictures have Jade's fingers (red arrow), but the black area behind Perrie is suddenly different.
Do you know why it looks different?
Because that part in the first picture still has some traces of Trisha's hair in it. Lmao.
It looks like someone did a rush job with photoshop to get a cute photo of the couple into the first article, and then refined it later, doesn't it?
The first Mirror photo doesn't have earlier copies anywhere in tumblr, that reverse search engines I used could find. It was most likely either made by Mirror or provided to them by someone.
