hi. i want to get to know transformers better than i do. i watched some of the new movies. the first and second, i think .optimus prime made me smile. can you please tell me where is the best place to start with transformers? and, it seems you prefer the 'enemy', or as it was sold to me in the movies. why?

Start with Transformers: Prime - it’s set in the Aligned continuity that gathers up mythologies from other continuities all up into one really nice package without too many characters to get confused about

and I prefer Decepticons because I always latch on to villains and I find the original Decepticon cause to be something not worth abandoning just yet
