The McDuck Family Tree + Timeline

So, hii!

Apparently, the majority of the fandom don’t know that the Ducktales Reboot’s version of the McDuck Family Tree was already revealed, in the Most recent Ducktales Book (DuckTales Woo-oo! Read-Along Storybook)

Eider (946 CE): Killed defending castle from Anglo-Saxons. His serfs deserted him because he was cheap.

Clan McDuck TimeLine

Quackly (1057): Trapped in a wall trying to hide treasure earned from defending King MacBeth.

Stuft (1189): Prosperous; died wealthy.

Murdoch (1066): Developed the longbow patent; made his fortune selling longbows to the English and charging extra for the arrows; killed by longbow.

Roast (1205): Stupidly gave family treasure to England; ate himself to death.

Swamphole (1220): Made back money, hoarded his treasure, built passageways in Castle McDuck, then closed them off and summoned a “demon dog” to stand watch.

Black Donald (1440): Invented golf. Subsequently got it banned.

Simon (1550): Secretary/accountant of Knights Templar; stole their treasure and hid it in the castle.

1675: Family lost castle after being chased away by a devil dog (conjured by the Whiskervilles).

Seafoam (1727): Sailor/buccaneer who plundered treasure.

1800’s: Scrooge helped family buy back castle and rid the castle of the Whiskervilles.

Silas (1800’s): Silas conned Druids out of building a new Stonehenge on McDuck land.

Dirty Dingus (1800’s): Fergus’s dad; coal miner. Couldn’t pay taxes.

Fergus and Downey McDuck: Father and mother of Scrooge McDuck. As residents of Castle McDuck, are unfortunate immortals because the castle was rebuilt with mystical Druid stones that Scrooge got cheap.
