Matte Magenta and Purple Eye Tutorial:
A quick and easy colorful look that’s still flattering enough for everyone to wear. This is a way to wear pink on the lids without looking like you’ve got swollen eyes.
P.S. some of you might not be able to see an animated gif tutorial above on your mobiles. It should show on your computers!
I used the 88 Matte palette (click 3 images of the palette above to see close-ups of the shades I used). You can use shimmer if you prefer.
I also used black liquid liner (a Japanese brand called Heroine Make) and black mascara (Gokunobi from another Japanese brand, Canmake).

Tips for wearing pink shadows in a flattering way:
Pick a pink that leans almost magenta (violet undertones instead of red or peach)
Pair it with a cool-tone like purple instead of a warm tone like peach or orange.
Use a charcoal or grey to define your socket instead of a warm brown.
Make sure you apply a little dark colored liner along the lash line to bring out the whites of your eyes.
