Idk if you're still doing anything with that pony au, but I think Ellie being an earth pony and still having the force is an incredibly funny concept. Like, someone pisses her off and she just yeets them across the room without even touching them, and everyone's just kinda like "YOU???? CAN USE MAGIC????? WHAT?!?!?!" either that or they blame it on Henry and he's just like "??????"

Gotta say I partially prefer Henry as a unicorn, partly because the idea of his magic blowing up in his face is fun, but also because I tend to see him as selectively mute and I uh, don't know how pony sign language would work, but hypothetically he could communicate with magic? Idk lol

i first headcanoned henry as an earth pony to make him suffer more i’m ngl lmaoo, but i then drew him as a unicorn since it made the most logical sense (now with an added reason!)

but hell yeah, henry suffering as a unicorn with exceptionally disastrous magic that fucks him over in ways unforeseeable is just as valid a form of torture! /lh

for some odd reason, i enjoy trying to base a character's appearance purely off their personality traits and such (when the character has a very undetailed appearance, like say, a stickman). it's pretty fun!

Consider for pony names: Diamond Cuffs for Henry (for the diamond obvi, and cuffs referring to either handcuffs or cuffs on a fancy shirt), Emerald Wings for Charles (again, because of the emerald and flight), and Ruby Flare for Ellie (for the ruby and her fiery personality) :3c
