It’s actually amazing how writing on paper cures my writing block. I was STRUGGLING to write yesterday but I switched to my notebook today and pumped out so much in less than an hour.

Well the new Sims update completely destroyed my copy of the game. I’ve repaired, it, reinstalled it twice, and now it’s saying that I can’t open it because it’s already open. I have checked Task Manager three times. It is not open. And then I tried a fix I found on a website and that also does not work at all.

Oh well. I was really looking forwards to playing around with the platform tool, but fuck that, I guess.

I fucking hate windows

Moms comp was doing better back on its original OS. Except one of the updates blew up its ability to download more system updates. So basically it just committed suicide. Because of course it did. Its a windows system. They need to rename their products from windows to ducks. They have about the same degree of consent allergy and tendency to fuck everything else over.

Bought all back issues of the National Geographic on dvd: doesn't run on my computer. Bought Our Mutual Friend: still waiting for the second episode to download after three days.
