pls tell me what magical things you do on your edits to make them so soft looking and A+ pls pls pls

when i'm done with my graphic i flatten the whole thing and duplicate the base layer. on the duplicated layer i go to filter and then gaussian blur and play with the settings and then lower the opacity of that layer, which gives it a bit of a "glowy" effect.

i also use some lighting effects which you can see here and here.
