I'm ashamed it took me so long to do this, but I'm more ashamed of being ignorant and not taking a stand against that so - a few years ago I reblogged a post of Black Lives Matter and I added All Lives Matter and it of course this turned into a little debate. At the time (because I hate confrontation) I brushed it off as 'I was just trying to spread peace idk why this person is going off on me' to myself and I've realised since then that that wasn't the case at all and I was in fact incorrect. I've been scared to apologize for what I said because I didnt want to relive/ bring any of that negativity up again (I'm a very anxious person). When it finally occured to me that Black Lives Matter was simply about raising awareness for black lives I felt incredibly stupid, and guilty, and ashamed and I've been on the fence about bringing this all up again for a long time but it's stupid to wait for "the right time" to apologize. so from the bottom of my heart, I'm very sorry to the Black Lives Matter movement and everyone involved. I'm trying to learn from my ignorance and be better. I'm sorry to @fuck-boy-harry for not realizing sooner why what I said was so infuriating and I will make sure I'm more informed the next time I speak about serious issues. have a good day everyone.
