literally Get to Work is one of my favorite expansions and they keep breaking it 😭 i already have to deal with business lots owned by my sims being completely empty whenever i play another household, and now doctors don’t even work anymore

i’m trying to actually play and enjoy the game but i’m so tired of every update fixing 10 things and breaking 20 more 😭

i’m a legacy player and lately i feel like all i do is build, but HOW am i not supposed to? 😭 my sims won’t take care of toddlers or wash the dogs, so i’m like “fine, i’ll just play with a single sim for once… maybe this one, he’s a DOCTOR”

WELL NOPE. can’t play with him either. and i can’t play households with pets because now sims can’t even bathe dogs anymore 💀

i’m so tired. i did not spend all this money on a building simulator

anyway i’m mostly writing this just to vent 😭 i’ll wait for the patch, but it genuinely makes me sad because The Sims is a game that means a lot to me, and lately it feels like they’ve turned it into a broken product made just to squeeze more money out of people

EA ruined it

ever since they implemented this 'log in rewards' bullshit feature, i just havent been arsed to even play the game anymore. even when i feel like i do want to play, i remember the log in bullshit and im like nah, i dont want to deal with that shit. and when one of them is over, they start ANOTHER one so its not like i can just wait for it to be over because its never over.

they have literally ruined the fucking game. this isnt an MMO i need to log into every day you fuckheads. i play when i want to play, and if you FORCE me to log in when you want me to, i just wont play. i dont want to feel obligated to complete certain tasks every time im in the fucking game. its left a gross taste in my mouth to even think about. good job, morons

About my inactivity

Yea I just dont like sims 4 anymore. I cant stand the glitches and performance errors anymore. It was funny the first few times my sims would walk through walls, fences and other sims. But it stopped being funny. My passion and desire to make recolours is dead in the water.

When a game touted to be performance based runs worse than sims 3 you know they done fucked up. And unlike sims 3, there arent many fixes out there to help.

The situation with paywallers also made a dent in my passion. Just, ffs, stop fleecing the fucking community you take for granted dipshits.

The recent kits did not help my attitude towards the game either. It a blatant cash grab with no regards for their customers. A massive game company worth 32,24 billion USD should NOT be giving us textures that look like it came from 2003.Yes. Theyre worth that god damn much. And they still overwork their employees.

No I am not saying if you like Sims 4 you are bad. I am not saying you should stop paying for the packs and kits. That is your decision.

I just dont like it anymore. At all. Im done with it.

Nochmal: Kauft keine Spiele von EA!

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ist wieder so ein Schachzug von EA, mit dem sie versuchen uns Gamer hinters licht zu führen und ihren beschissenen Ruf mit minimaler Arbeit wieder zu retten. Ganz nach der Devise “Unsere Letzten Star Wars Spiele waren so scheiße, dass sich selbst Disney beschwert hat, also machen wir jetzt ein ganz gutes. Das ist zwar in 2 Stunden durchgespielt, aber wenigstens kann keiner sagen es ist schlecht gemacht” Ich werde mir Fallen Order nicht kaufen. Generell werde ich in Zukunft nur noch die Spiele kaufen, bei denen ich mir sicher bin, dass sie gut und länger als 2 Stunden sind. Momentan wäre RDR2 und Cyberpunk 2077 die einzigen beiden Spiele, bei denen ich mich zu einem Kauf vordringen würde. Alles andere bietet für mich, dank meiner miesen Erfahrungswerte, kaum einen nennenswerten Grund, warum ich es mir, wenn überhaupt, legal kaufen sollte. Da ich aber ein Gegner von Cracking bin und ich meine Spiele grundsätzlich kaufe, werde ich meine Spielzeit wohl eher in Minecraft verbringen.

Kinder sind seitdem die Gamer-Welt zum Mainstream wurde das größte Problem und nicht ganz unschuldig, dass immer mehr miese Spiele erscheinen. Nehmen wir doch mal Fallout 76 als Beispiel. Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass Fallout 76 der größte Flop in der Geschichte Bethesdas ist, Kaum ein Spiel ist so verhasst wie dieses. Trotzdem wird es (Nach aussagen meines Neffen, der ist 15) von allen in der Schule hoch und runter gezockt. Bei Battlefront 2 und Black Ops 4 dasselbe. Ein Spiel kann noch so scheiße sein, die Kinder werden trotzdem auf das Marketing reinfallen. Wahrscheinlich wird das auch bei Fallen Order passieren.
