Basically have come to the conclusion that even after fighting and performing for the past 2 years and managing to get $40,000 in scholarships to the school I dream of going to, we're still too poor to afford the leftover portion. Yes....yes I am crying right now.

“I think if highschool had actually been a time for me to explore myself things might be different. Everyone rushes into freshman year excited for college, new friends, senior boyfriends. All the fun highschool stuff. I went into freshman year in a school where everyone only gave a shit about money and your last name. I was fucked from day one basically.

I spent most of highschool trying to show people who I was, trying to prove to them I wasn’t who they said I was. And the worst part of that is at the end of the day I didn’t even know who I was. I was desperate to give this version of myself that didn’t even existed, to people who didn’t even care.

I honestly mostly just want to do highschool again to find myself. I spent way too much time in the mirror and in clothing stores trying to be like every other girl in my grade when that’s the last thing I am. Or want to be.

I am a fucking weird one. I am the black sheep. I am what they call crazy. But I will never ever fit into your cliche and narrow minded stereo types and for that I will forever be thankful. All I wish through my time now about highschool is that I would have gone back and accepted the fact I wasn’t like the rest.”

Wow. I wrote this my Freshman year in High School. The entirety of my High School career I held in, what I felt was, the real me. Short & sweet. She grew & allowed her light to shine. This version of myself is so courageous & I look up to her. She’s strong. She’s me. I Love Me. Today, I Am Me. In my truest form🌻

I had a freaking dream about this last night, so I thought I’d share. 

“Things In Highschool That Probably Shouldn’t Have Happened, But Did.”

While jogging down the hill to get to my highschool’s track in gym class, I tripped and fell in a medium sized pot hole in the pavement. I twisted my ankle and in turn had a pretty good sized, bloody gash in my knee that was full of dirt and rocks. The first line out of my gym teachers mouth when I fall isnt, are you ok, its, “Wow.... Bailey, did you fall on purpose so you wouldn’t have to run the mile”. Know one should let teachers get away with shit like this.

I hate my high school it’s filled with white trash trump supports even though we’re in the city???? Like where did all these rednecks come from?? I’m about to move my big ass to our way better “rival” high school because it’s so much chiller and doper. And hella of a lot nicer people go there.
