I'm actually so baffled at certain story changes in "House of the Dragon" that I am actually speechless.... like it makes me so mad, all the freaking time.
Why erase nettles? Why make Rhaenyra obsessed with not letting Jace join the Battle? Why repeat the whole "we can't control dragons" bit during the battle of the gullet? Did we really need this to turn the battle more epic?
You want fucking epic? the original battle includes 5 freaking dragons, the sacking of Spicetown and High Tide, the death of a prince, the disappearance of another, Aegon's III whole foundational trauma... and yet you reduce it to a battle with only 3 dragons, a rather boring ship chase and Rhaena thinking she can just join a battle on her first time flying a dragon and getting surprised it doesn't work out....
I'm actually too upset to right now... I'm going to lie down and try to behave like a normal person....
