Rant.
I'm pissed.
A few days ago, two new mares arrived and were put into the pasture with my mare. My mare has always been the dominant mare no matter what, until these two arrived. For some reason, she submits to them. And they like to randomly follow the blind pony that's been in the field with Plague. Plague does not like this for some reason. She's protective of the little guy lol
So she's refusing to leave his side.
Meaning she has refused to come when I whistle for her when it's grain time. For 3 days now. Today, I went out in the field and attempted to bring her in with a halter, but when we got half way back to the barn, she bulked suddenly and refused to go any further. Had to take the halter off she got so jittery and as soon as I did, she bolted back to the blind pony (who was being followed by the new mares since Plague was absent) and she circled him a thousand times to make them leave him alone.
Wtf. My horse's hooves still need care. She gets her hoof supplements in her feed. She should get her feed. And if this keeps up, I'm gonna become a very angry boarder.
ALSO, the new mares won't allow my horse or the pony eat the single round bale in the whole field. The grass is gone now in the field. My horse isn't getting the proper amount of forage she needs.
I DO NOT NEED MY HORSE COLICING IN THE WINTER BECAUSE TWO STUPID BULLY MARES ARE IN THE FREAKING WAY.
For fuck's sake. I wish I had enough money to get proper fencing on my property and fix up the tiny barn next to my house and just have my horse here with me.
Just ugh. I need to talk to the barn leaser. He's gonna get an ear-full. Yeah. I'm gonna be THAT boarder. lol
