You know what's fucking stupid?
That on the Colorado Ballot there is a proposed amendment to the state constitution and a proposed city ordinance about regulating and legalizing marijuana, but the same-sex marriage bill didn’t even make it onto the floor for the 2012 ballot. I don’t give two fucks about whether I’m allowed to smoke pot or not. It’s not like I can go out and get recreationally married the same way I can get stoned even if it’s not legal. Oh, wait. I don’t smoke. That’s right. But somehow this issue seems so fucking important that it gets a proposed amendment and city ordinance. HOW IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE IMPORTANT? WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE GETTING STONED WHEN I CAN’T GET FUCKING MARRIED? THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID. THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID. Also, it’s depressing as shit that I have to sift through the deepest trenches of the internet to find non-partisan information on each candidate and their views on any other issue besides jobs, education, and balancing the budget. Those are important. Yes. What about all that other shit though? Why the fuck is no one standing up for me in my home state?
