My eyes protrude and are set higher in my eye sockets. That’s a sign of thyroid problems. My eye doctor noticed this, and informed me and my mother to test for it. If you do not know, the thyroid is a large ductless gland in the neck that secretes hormones regulating growth and development through the rate of metabolism. So at my doctors appointment today, we informed the doctor of this and she made a comment about my eyes, then felt the area on the neck where the thyroid is. She said it was [swollen], so after the whole appointment I had to go to the lab. I had my blood taken, after two shots and three attemps to get my vien. This was also the first time I had to get blood taken. After they stole my blood, they informed me I had to y’know in a cup. Best appointment, right? Five times being stabbed with a needle, then I had to friggin y’know in a cup. How fun. Now we have to wait until they test both my blood and the y’know for an answer. My mother also believes that I may have Graves Disease, I am showing the symptoms for it. Great.
