I was wondering if you know everything Aurora has said about Step 3 and the next album (and/or if they're the same)??
Hello, lovely warrior! Oh, thank you for your challenging question, I had the same question in my head after reading the latest interview. So, basically, if cleaning out everything I put in the recap about 2 new albums several years ago [link] one of which is "The Gods We Can Touch" and adding some new commentaries, we have such information on her future album:
She started writing songs for the new album at the same time she started working on "The Gods We Can Touch", so since 2019, and more likely it will be released rather in 4 or 5 years (and I assume it's a Step 3), just like TGWCT is going to be recorded in a castle, but this time a French one [x].
Step 3 is coming. I have a Step 3, it’s just not its time yet.

“I’m actually working on two albums ["The Gods We Can Touch" and the next one] and I don’t know which album I will release first. One of them requires quite a lot of travelling and time. The song ‘A Different Kind of Human’ is actually a hint for one of the albums and for the direction I’m going in.”

“A Little Place Called The Moon" is the perfect ending. You have to wait so long for the final release where I finally come in again. I like the patience of it, it offers you one last breath before it all ends and disappears into the sky. And it’s a really good bridge to my next album. No [I can’t tell a bit more about it]!

Thematically this next album will probably talk a lot about death and what it is in a philosophical way and about the grief and how to go through it:
I feel like losing someone is the most painful thing human beings can ever experience and we all experience it and we need more medicine for experiencing grief, ‘cause it’s so painful. I definitely want to spend a lot of time in my life making as much music that can be a medicine for this incredible pain that death can bring. This album ["The Gods We Can Touch"] has a little of it. I think, all of my albums have 'cause I’m very fascinated by death; but I wanna make albums that have more to do with it: one album is more like medicine, and one that is more exploring what the death is, [in a] philosophical [way].

For the future, I’d love to tap into spirituality and maybe make an album that’s only about death and how deal with it because it’s going to happen to us, to our families. So, I’d like to write about music that’s good for people in grief because I think the world needs music for that, music is like a best friend, it allows you to express things that maybe words cannot.

its going well, I take one song for every chapter and I put it on my death album instead of the album I’m making its going well. and im excited about it!
