With all the news about immigration today, I thought to share this photo taken a few weeks ago during a spontaneous drive to Mexico. This portion of the border wall separating the US and Mexico looks ominous, but I was surprised by how much life there was on the southern side of the border. Men were fishing, young women were jogging with dogs, and even a few dolphins surfaced to say órale.

A message written on the rusty iron fence read "También de este lado hay sueños" - On this side we also have dreams.

As a Mexican, it fucking terrifies me people on Twitter and Tumblr glorifying Peña Nieto, Calderón and Fox Quesada for their responses to Trump’s Wall and Peña’s looks, like, they’re horrible people, they’ve killed and lie.

Fox’s policies sank the country.

Calderón’s Drug War took thousands of lives, children included.

Peña Nieto let 43 students get killed by Druglords only because they were there at the wrong moment and the wrong bus. He’s letting the country sink even deeper, but his daughter, who talks shit of “La Prole”, can travel to Europe.

He cares bullshit about us, he’s only protecting himself and probably Salinas de Gortari’s agenda.
