ok story ideas

what i am thinking is that there will probably be only one pov character which will be the "prophet". it could swich also to his brother, who is a warrior for their tribe, or his other brothers who are shepards, and/or to his sisters who may be a concubine for the tribe chieftan, or somthing idk. still fleshing out characters.

but the main focus of the story will be about the prophet and the worlds conection to the "gods" and the world around them. so to put it in perspective, where GoT is about the sides of humanity and how we interact with each other, this will be more about how we interact with the world around us and how we interpret these things.

i really want to make it polar for the readers in deciding if the prophet is actually being contacted by a god or if he is just very mentally ill, ie schizophrenia. The evidence for the actual god side will be that he actually does seem to have powers of forsight and, by the end of the first section, will seem to actually have produced miracles. the evidence for the mentally ill side will be that the god exibits very strange behaviors, does not manifest itself to anyone but the prophet, causes the prophet to be very paraniod, and using the general disbelief of the readers.

as for the culture of the people and the actually story, that still needs fleshing. what do you think hollyn?

oK so here an idea

There is a group of people that live are thousands of generations old. they are nomads in a this huge grassy, hilly, mountainous land that just goes on and on and on from sea to sea. they are a nomadic people that have no real rhyme or reason to where they are going. the land is so huge and fertile that they could literally go anywhere with their flocks and they will be fine.

but in the last couple of generations there has been less grass and more sand in the world. many of the other nomadic peoples are settling down and building cities. this goes on for several generations, the desert is growing and so are the cities until there is hardly any nomadic peoples at all.

Then thats where the story would begin. One of the last nomadic peoples are then gifted with some huge and terrible power or weapon and shit goes down. or something. idk hollyn help a brotha out.

nrrrgh you need to go through shadyashale's archives, cuz that was the best rper basically in my entire run of rping. Like yeah Shin in canon doesn't have much going for him (same as Howl), but add a little headcanon and it's totally plausible.

1) he's good with & heavily interested in cars (same as Asami and pretty much canon I mean did you SEE his ride?)

2) he's had a pretty hard past (quite possible considering he's in the Triads)

3) he has a pretty thick shell layered with ingrained sexism and has had more than his fair share of prostitutes, but when it comes to cars he would treat anyone as his equal as long as they know their stuff (which asami definitely does)

4) and idk the rest would be headcanons on his personality and how he and asami would play off each other but it could work!
