🌟"True belonging only happens when we present our authentic imperfect selves to the world - our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self acceptance " ~ Brenè Brown 😎I was never one of the "cool" kids, the "it" crowd or the "hot" chicks. 🤓In all honesty I rocked the complete opposite side of the spectrum...bad skin, red curly hair, freckles, over developed body (ie not skinny) and unbranded clothes. 😕When you're young these things feel important, they matter....you want to feel like you belong in this world...that you are accepted by others. How much time, energy and heart ache do we waste on this when in actual fact it's not others we need acceptance and belonging from...its OURSELVES we need to give it too! 🤗It's only when we become our true authentic selves by accepting everything we are (and are not) and share this with the world honestly & openly that we will truly feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. Normal... such a simple word, but for many it isnt, but what is normal? Normal for me is ... just be who you are, people are beautyfull in all forms and shapes.. follow the path that makes you the most comfortabel and be true to yourself. Even if you feel like you dont belong here, there is allways someone on this rotten earth that feels what you feel and likes what you like. Never give up if people say that you are not "normal" pfff fuck them, just imagine in your head that they hang in a tree with there guts ripped out of there bodys...
