I don't have curtains, only shutters that let in loads of lights. My lounge gets the sun from sun up to sun down and last summer reached 42° 😒. Last night i left the windows open, then closed them first thing and put up a throw to try and act as a curtain. Its not overly cool in my lounge rn at 5pm, but its not 30°+ like usual.
