Access to information should be a basic human right not locked behind multi-billion dollar corporations. The lack of free access to a majority of the worlds information is a violation of intellectual freedom, and is morally and creatively reprehensible. Thankyou Aaron Swartz for everything you did in the fight for what most people is not even a passing thought. With more people like Aaron and a future generation of like minded individuals maybe we can finally have a future where artists can be artists, intellectuals can be intellectuals, philosophers can be philosophers and they can all question their work and passion and imbue it with intellectual freedom that is only a few keystrokes away. The archaic government system which dangles on the stings of corporations needs to be injected with strong morals and freedom of speech, the democracy we live in is plagued with corruption and needs a paradigm shift
