"On vaccines causing the "spike" in Autism diagnoses, and Andrew Wakefield"
Well, as an Autistic man and an advocate, I can tell you this is wrong. The spike was not caused by a vaccine or the sudden emergence of Autistic people, but by an increase in people finally being tested for Autism. We are realizing now that Autistic people have always been here. Tesla, DaVinci, Einstein, and many other eccentric and brilliant minds are now thought to have been Autistic, predating the vaccines, and predating the supposed spike.
Meaning this supposed spike is not caused by an increase of Autistic people, but by the newly found awareness of our existence.
Andrew Wakefield, the ONLY "doctor" to ever claim vaccines caused Autism:
A: Said it was about MMR vaccine that combined 3 separate vaccines.
B: Had a financial stake in the competing company that had an alternative to the combined vaccine he claimed caused problems.
C: Admitted in court that his findings were wrong and could not be duplicated by any other scientific team.
D: Lost his medical license because of his manipulation.
Now he goes around spreading complete fabrications about us, and proposing dangerous and deadly "cures" that have literally killed thousands of my people. He's wrong, this is all wrong, and if you support him or this idea at all, you are on the wrong side of history.
