Winston wishes Tracer had given him more warning before her visit. She FUCKING called saying “I’M GONNA BE THERE IN TEN MINUTES WITH EMILY GET READY”, and then hung up. Winston grumbled angrily as he fucking RUSHED to clean up.
“Oh Wiiiiiinstooooon,” Lena called as she entered. “Weeee’re heeere!” A loud groan from the gorilla made her snicker. He didn’t look up when they came in, still trying to stuff his research into its’ proper place.
“You know, I’d like more of a warning next time- this place is filth-” he turned, letting out a loud “OOH” in shock. That was NOT Emily.
Oh… AMELIE. Bitch’s fucking accent makes her hard to understand.
Winston squinted, staring the two down. Lena’s smile grew nervous, and she fiddled with her shirt.
“HEY, Amelie, stay here for a sec-” she zipped over to Winston, tugging her friend to a private area. Amelie stared at them blankly, before sitting down on a nearby chair.
“Lena,” Winston started. “What the fuck?” Lena laughed nervously, jumping from one foot to the other.
“Look, Winston… you wouldn’t get it- you’re not a lesbian”. “Will you STOP saying that-” Winston dragged a hand down his face. “Seriously, Lena”.
“Okay, okay- Originally, I was just trying to help her after her escape from Talon. But, then I remembered I was gay as hell”. Winston stared at her, blinking in confusion.
“She killed Mondatta!” “Yeah, she said she’s sorry about that”. “Wh-” Winston put a hand on his forehead, rubbing his temples. He can feel… the Migraine(™). “Lena-”
“Anyway, I want you two to get to know each other, so I’ll be back later!” “What-” “Bye, Winston!” She blinked back to Amelie, giving her a kiss on the cheek, before zipping out of the building. Leaving Winston, and Widowmaker, alone in the lab.
The two ex-enemies stared at each other, before Winston let out an awkward smile. Amelie glared blankly,
“How did… this whole thing happen,” he asked, sitting at his desk. “I tried to snipe her and she blinked behind me and smacked my backside. Instead of attacking me, she said she’d help me escape Talon”. Lena what the FUCK.
Silently, Winston just… began to go back to his work. He was sweating the entire time, feeling Widowmaker’s eyes just boring into his soul.
She stood after a while, opting to look around the lab instead of making him severely uncomfortable. He watched her as she moved around, making sure she didn’t touch anything she shouldn’t.
As he watched, though, his gaze began to wander. He watched her hips swish as she walked, and trailed his eyes down her long legs. Her hair cascaded down her back, down from her usual ponytail. It looked smooth and silky.
He shook his head. Get a grip, monkey-boy, that’s your friend’s weird… girlfriend? Wait, what the fuck happened to Emily?
Did Emily fucking die? Did she fucking die and did Lena not tell him? Are they all dating?
“Winston-” He let out a more animalistic scream than he’d like, jumping out of his chair. Widowmaker had moved in front of him, cleavage on show as she leaned on his desk. He gripped the edge of the desk, slowly peeking back up. His eyes just barely visible above the edge of the furniture. Widowmaker huffed out a laugh, barely a smile on her face.
“Do you have any books for me to read while I wait on Lena,” she asked. God, why all these bitches have accents…..
He nodded, getting off of the ground. He tried to regain SOME of his dignity as he led her to his room. Nothing important was in there- at least, in terms of his research- so he was fine with letting her in.
“I doubt you’ll enjoy much- I mostly have manuals and and scientific journals. Some of my fiction is over on the far shelf,” he explained, watching her walk in and examine the various shelves.
“That’s fine- I’m sure I’ll find something to... keep me occupied,” she replied, walking along the wall. He could’ve sworn she put more of a swing into her hips as she did so. Did he imagine her looking over her shoulder just now?
“I’ll be… back at the desk if, uh… if you need me,” Winston said, stumbling back out of the room. She hummed, signalling she heard him, before pulling a book out and looking through the first few pages.
Winston sat at his desk, putting his glasses on the desk carefully. He then, promptly, slammed his face into the desk’s surface. He, furiously, scratched through the fur on the back of his head. He groaned loudly into the metal.
“Are you alright, Winston,” Athena asked. “Your pulse has spiked”. Winston grumbled in annoyance, before sitting up and putting his glasses back on.
“Yes, Athena, I’m fine. Just… worried about our new… guest”. “More like you’re worried about her backside”. Winston gave the computer screen a look, but Athena was silent.
“Listen,” he said, before groaning again. He mumbled angrily, going back to his work. Athena didn’t bother him about his body’s responses anymore, thankfully.
He worked, in silence, for about an hour. It was too quiet. He put his tools down, getting out of his seat. He hopes Amelie hadn’t wandered off…
He walked into his room, seeing Widow just… lounging on his bed. She had thrown off her jacket, shirt small enough to show off her toned stomach. She had one leg crossed over the other, and he just barely saw up her skirt before he promptly tore his eyes back up to her face. She peeked up at him from over the book, thin brow raising curiously.
“Did you need something, Winston?” He coughed, feeling his face heat up under his fur. Thank every deity out there any color on his cheeks couldn’t be seen. He adjusted his glasses.
“N-No, I was just… make sure you were, uh…” “Not snooping around,” she finished, sitting up. She placed the book on the bedside table, standing. She tugged her shirt down, as it had ridden up when she sat down, and then straightened her skirt.
“I understand- you think I am just hiding behind a persona. Still working for Talon”. She walked closer, making him straighten up slightly.
“I can assure you, monsieur, that you have nothing to worry about. If I had wanted something from you…” That ghost of a smirk returned to her blue face. “I’d have taken it, already”. He swallowed thickly, sucking in a breath. She looked him up and down.
“It seems, however, that there is something you want from me,” she smiled, reaching up to pull his glasses off. He let her, watching her place them on a nearby shelf.
“I-I… I think we- I-” He couldn’t find the words. She chuckled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“What- what about Lena-” “She is a nice girl, but I like someone a little… bigger,” she purred. She leaned closer, and he just ever so slightly leaned away.
“Surely there would be… others, that you’d enjoy more”. She looked at him through her lashes, shaking her head.
“What can I say? I’m… a furry,” she whispered sensually, before kissing him deeply. He knew this was wrong, on many levels. But, God… He couldn’t stop himself from pulling her closer.
Before it could escalate, however, a shrill scream made them separate. Lena stood in the doorway, staring at them with wide eyes.
“I can’t believe this- Winston- Amelie-” Tears fell down her cheeks. Widowmaker placed her arms back on Winston’s neck and shoulders.
“I’m sorry, Lena. I appreciate what you’ve done, but… I need a man- and someone who can take care of me”. Amelie frowned slightly.
“And also I’m tired of you fucking farting in your sleep”. Lena wailed, blinking out of the building.
Winston felt horrible. This was a terrible, terrible thing. He has to find some way to apologize to Lena.
… After he deal with the gorgeous woman trailing kisses along his jawline.
