Macklemore

From the moment I heard his music, which I found through a photographer's blog, I feel like my music taste hasn't been the same. His beats, his beliefs, his style (words, demeanor, clothing, etc) is just beyond what any other artist I like has. He is so unreal, so creative and so strong. When I see him live (which has only happened twice) something overcomes me. This weirdass connection. I start to dance, hell if you know me, I do not dance. I don't know if it's how the words come out, his lovely stage presence or the story behind how he made his life more positive, for the better.

Thank you Macklemore/Ryan Lewis. You make it so I don't feel dumb that I don't indulge in "drugs" anymore. Not that I ever had an addiction. But you know, those peers who insist you come smoke just for old time sake. 

This isn't meant to be some obsessive I want your body post, it is a thank you, a reminder that your music not only moves your fans but it changes who they are.

This shit made me tear up for no reason.

My-y-y-y-y-y music taste is filthy.
