The Forever Young

So a few weeks back, I was followed on twitter by a band named The Forever Young. Like all bands that follow me, I do my little research before following back. Let me tell you something.....

WOW

They're actually amazing. The first song I heard by them is they're current single 'Sophie Please' and to this day I have not been able to get it out of my head. Check it out:

Sophie Please is this beautiful song that has me begging for summer. Its incredibly catchy and that voice has me completely gaga.

The Forever Young is made up of Mike Lake and Keiran Nelson. When I first fell for then, I quickly DM'd the band page and mentioned how I was planning on using Sophie Please in my Radio Production class. I mentioned how I just needed a little information on them. Mike was nice enough to send me a little info:

"Both myself (Mike) and Keiran used to make music together in a band called "Alison Lake" when we were younger. I moved on to a band called The Make Believe and when that ended, myself and Keiran decided we wanted to keep making music together as a duo, so we formed TFY We've got an EP called "lost boys" coming out really soon, then we'll start playing shows. Can't wait!"

The only absolutely tragic piece is that they're from Melbourne, Australia and I'm from Nowhere, NJ. So unless they do a US tour or I make an impromptu trip to the land down under, my chances of meeting them are slim to none. *sigh*

In all honesty, everyone should take a little time out of their day and really check out The Forever Young. I promise you won't regret it.

They also have a pretty badass cover of I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys. So I will leave you guys with that.
