Thoughts prior to finale- Yay, Victor Garber and John Noble as seriously awesome guest-stars! Henry's so lovely and helpful. Jenny better not die, and Abbie better not get stuck in Purgatory, that would be the worst cliffhanger evah.
Thoughts post finale- ASDFGSDLK*&^%$JAAAH THAT WAS SOME MASTER MISDIRECTION, WRITERS! Plant the seeds episodes earlier, make every little detail from fistbumps to pie relevant and emotional, and COME OUT OF LEFT FIELD WITH THE SECOND HORSEMAN=JEREMY CRANE=HENRY PARRISH. I don't think anyone got that.
Seriously, though, what a fustercluck. Abbie stuck in Purgatory, yes, but that's only part of what went down, and I swear they knew what we were gonna think and used that to misdirect. Plus the delightful Victor Garber got to chomp on a glass and turn into a hellbeast. AND they gave us some serious Mills-sister bonding & Witness-bonding too. Bravo, writers, bravo.
