Keeping your head up... always?🤷‍♀️ • • Last Thursday I missed all four of my classes due to a fever. 105°F to be exact. Not the best feeling in the world. Despite the fact that I felt awful Wed night till Sunday morning, I managed to get a lot done. I know I would have benefitted from resting, but I felt worse after sleeping or laying down. So I was moving, walking, working, helping, doing just something. • • I've never been this sick in my adult life. I felt useless, weak, & beaten. & yes, I learned my lesson! We need proper rest, fist bumps>handshakes, use hand sanitizer after everything, etc. • • Even though this was shitty, I managed to stay strong throughout this sickness all by myself, & that is something I'm proud of. Sometimes we will not have someone to take care of us, & that's okay.
