Lara was rather adept at outwitting her enemies; but even she was known to fail from time to time. This was one of those scenarios - or at least it was for the time being. There was always a chance she could turn things around, after all.
She had made the mistake of engaging with hostiles on their home turf. As such, after a bloody battle, she’d ended up confined to a prison cell deep within the uncharted region of the Amazon rainforest. While she worked on fashioning a sling for her injured arm, she hummed to herself.
She only stopped when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Two guards and ... oh, bloody hell. It was Clarke. She arched a brow as he was tossed into the adjoining cell before turning her attention back to her work in an overly casual manner.
