I wanted to draw my favorite Madou boss again, cuz it’s been too long.

I’ll probably end up doing more of him in various interpretations, for now, I just stuck to what was closest to canon.

one of my favorite things in the Madou side of the Puyo fanon is how ppl pretty much decided the final bosses work well in pairs

Count and Runelord, bordering on a ship of two rather charismatic, flamboyant guys that share a leitmotif.

Fudoushi and Dark Matter are the dead sorcerers that hijack a tower that isn't even theirs, bearing crazy grudges.

Mamono and Owlbear are the fluffy birb guys that like to mess with baby Arle that are soft on the inside.

What's next? Are we gonna have Yog pullin' up trying to rizz the Phantom God?

man idc if Compile regretted the PC98 version of Madou Monogatari 1-2-3, this line is raw as fuck and I love it, a lot of these enemy injury lines are GREAT, wow 😭

EDIT: the translation for Fudoushi's dialogue, holy crap, knocked outta the ball park whoever translated this.

Characters: Ecolo, Dark Matter, Fudoushi

After the Creator destroyed everything in the old Madou world, remnants of what used to be somehow still found themselves trapped in what felt like purgatory. A space-time traveler comes across these remaining spirits, one of which he has a lot in common with.

A remake a fan-fic I made years ago, but now a bit more sad because yeah.
