Prompt: Hot Springs
Pairing: Fuegoleon Vermillion x Sei Caesius (oc)
Warnings: Have to put this here bc they are at a hotsprings and naked BUT everything is chaste
Life as the Vice Captain of a prestigious magic knights squad was never easy, but for three weeks now, Sei didn't feel like he had even a moment to just... breathe. Whether it was paperwork, or an impromptu mission, or an emergency late night meeting at the castle, Sei was always busy. He couldn't even sleep well at night, for thoughts of the day ahead always stressed him out.
He wasn't the type of person to complain about his problems. he knew that Fuegoleon must be stressed out too, and knowing that his fiance was burdened would only make it worse. So Sei bit his tongue and soldiered forth again and again, his problems silenced. Or so he thought.
"Where on earth are we going? You know we have to prepare for that mission tomorrow, right?"
"Actually... no." Sei raised an eyebrow as Fuegoleon lead him out of their office and down the stairs. The man had gleefully told Sei of a "surprise" he had in store for him. "Randall and Horatio are taking the mission. We have a day off!"
"Oh... I see." The idea of a "day off" was completely foreign to Sei at this point, he hardly remembered what free time felt like. "Did you have to take the day off, too?"
"I didn't have to, but I thought some alone time would be nice. Just the two of us for once, you know?" Fuegoleon smiled brightly. "No meetings, no missions... just us."
The two finally reached the courtyard, where the CLK's spatial mage was waiting. "I'll open the portal back up at 4!" they said brightly, before opening their Grimoire. A big door appeared ahead of the two of them, and Fuegoleon took Sei's hand. "Come on, your surprise is right through here!"
Nodding, Sei closed his eyes as they stepped through the door. The sounds of the city faded into a quiet stillness. Sei opened his eyes, inhaling sharply as he saw that they were in a tranquil forest. And right ahead of them-
"Hot springs?"
Fuegoleon chuckled, rubbing Sei's shoulder with him thumb. "What better way is there to relax?"
Trips to the springs were usually a squad affair, and Sei never had much fun. But when it was just him and Fuego, he could definitely find it in him to relax.
"Come on, you look so tense."
Sei couldn't help but blush a little as Fuegoleon stepped into the water, sighing happily as the warmth soaked into his skin. He moved behind Sei, his hands automatically sliding to his shoulders. "Massage?"
"Please." Sei smiled to himself as Fuegoleon worked his magic, his hands perfectly kneading away every knot and every worry that Sei had been carrying. In that moment, those weeks of stress faded from his mind.
"Relaxed yet?"
"Definitely."
Even if it was just for a moment, Sei was glad to be here alone with the man he loved.
