Telling someone you’re asexual is not oversharing or giving intimate details about your sex life. It’s coming out the same as any other non-straight orientation. It doesn’t even, technically, tell someone anything about how much sex you desire, currently have, or have had in the past, since there are factors outside of attraction that could have a much greater effect.
