Oh gosh LOKI!
So much to see and say and do and understand and try not to be biased because of Hiddleston.
Okay lets start this ass breaking down:
1. How I feels… To be quite honest I love the character Loki in all of his different uses. From comics to cartoons to the movies. He is an all around example of what a goddamn well developed character should be, let alone a Villian. His back story is well balanced with the Norse mythology that I grew up (one of the reasons I love the Thor series ) and is unique, yet gives an out right reason for his actions. For him at least. Dark humor is some of my fav, and he is a master of mixing humor with ‘No really bitch Imma torture you’. He’s pretty damn fierce and knows how to throw a bitchin temper tantrum.
2. Romantic ships… Hmmm. Well Thor, cause its funny and all the pretty pics. (Hello personality and visual differences. Yeah that’s right give me all the golden tanned skin of a brave warrior sliding and scratching warm paths along the cool pale skin of a scholarly wizard, leaving trails of fire and shivers in its wake. Whooooo *fans self* I do declare)
Um Tony Stark is also a very nice pairing. Purely for scientific reasons (tony wants to find out if his science can break loki’s magic’s hold) and the sass (we have a hulk) and the rich, elegant snobbery (you need to strut). (Plus me gusta JARVIS threatening Loki over Tony’s well fare and Thor repeatedly slapping Tony the back and proclaiming ‘MINE BROTHER AND SHIELD BROTHER HAVE MADE MOST HONEST AND HONERABLE MEN OF EACHOTHER’ to all who would listen. Also the world would crumble at the feet of Loki and Tony’s combined power, at least once Pepper gave the okay.)
Lastly would be Darcy. Cause chika know what to do when Asgardians be like ‘petty humans’ she be like ‘silly god, meet my tazer. Yeah you crumble to the ground, I forced fucking Coulson to give me a job!’. (Also yummy power dynamics and m’ams and sirs being thrown around and babies.)
3. Non romantic OTP… Hulk/Brucey (join the we almost killed/threatened Natasha Romanoff and lived club). Loki would totes bond with Banner about shity fathers and weird childhoods. (All of the broship)
4. Unpopular opinion?… I guess it would have to be that Loki doesn’t need a hug and everything would be a okay. yeah I would like to give him a hug. yeah he is being somewhat manipulated and not everything is his problem. But the boy is gonna have to take responsibility for his actions in a non-homicidal-everyone’s inferior to me-I do what I want-it’s all Odin’s fault kinda way. More of a well shit, look where this adoptive business got me, I still gonna do what I want, fuck my life, when can I leave kinda way.
5. Something I wish to happen in cannon… Well Thor already used his hammer (penis?) to throw Loki back to Asgaurd once. Hmmmmm, well in conflict with my earlier point I want Thor to hug Loki. Be like ‘MY BROTHER HOW HAVE YE BEEN? LOOK AT THIS KITTEN IS IT NOT CUTE!’ and Loki to just be like ‘WTF did Stark get you drunk?’
But yes momma likey Loki. Can’t wait for Thor 2 to see him again in the movies.
