this is such a nice response and i agree with you 5000% i felt like crying when i reached your second paragraph

wow thank you! it’s just that fandom’s reaction when he doesn’t want to do one thing vs another thing really surprises me, one day it’s all supportive “you don’t have to do things to please the thirsty crowd, we love you for who you are” then the next day everyone’s asking him to accept what the thirsty crowd wants. and i don’t really see why he should like being called cute, he might end up going along with it because he doesn’t want to disappoint the crowd, but it’s ok for people to dislike being called certain words, no matter how sweet our intention, it’s common sense. i actually like it when he says no to things, especially after he’s been told he should like it. it’s like getting to know a little more about him, which we wouldn’t get to see if he felt obligated to act like he's into it.

ahh i always feel weird sharing my thoughts on here because people might misunderstand and get angry so thanks for telling me you agree so much haha

i don't imagine ksoo as my bf per se but i imagine what it would be like to his food buddy..going on a food trip with him to sample the diff cuisines of the world. i badly wanna bring him to this local posh steakhouse bc on top of the food, the brand personality of the restaurant is so him

being his food buddy sounds great 🍖🍴

whenever i see dks 'cute' is not exactly the first thing that comes to mind. usually it's smth along the lines of how "wow he's so manly" general appreciation of how he's all attractive hard edges, like the testosterone with the pretty face [1]

also whenever ppl say things “he’s such a baby” i get rly uncomfortable. I know it’s only endearment but somehow it makes me :/ bc i feel like ppl don’t see enough of that manly/matured side of him [2]

i don’t like it either but for different reasons

omg ;-; i never thought some of you could have feelings like these for me? it really warms my heart. and it doesn’t matter if somebody looks like they can ‘fight’ alone. you could have all the confidence in the world but the feeling of support from other people is a different feeling that we can’t give to ourselves

2. top 5 scores:

lord of the rings trilogy (2001-2003): i don’t think these movies would be same without their fantastic score. howard shore did an insane legendary work. 

brokeback mountain (2005): it’s impossible for me to think of this movie without hearing that mellow acoustic guitar in the distance. i got the soundtrack just for that. it makes my heart melt instantly and my eyes go watery. i’m lame.

star wars iv: a new hope (1977): a classic. instant nostalgia. when i think of space travel i think of star wars music.

whiplash (2014): this movie is a bomb and so is the score. a lot of people say the story is an affront to the spirit of jazz, but i disagree. the jazz is all there keeping the story alive. 

sleeping beauty (1959): it’s really really hard for me to pick the best disney score because i love them all, but sleeping beauty has something more to it i cannot explain. it’s just magical.

27. last 5 films seen:

the spectacular now (2013): this movie was so much better than i expected. it’s so much more than the romance, i was pleasantly surprised. it was a breath of fresh air. and miles teller puts on a show. 

this is england (2006): powerful stuff, the accents and banter are great and better yet are the two sequels/mini-series they made later and the third one that’s coming out this year!

insurgent (2015): the kind of guilty pleasure i enjoy. plus the cute cast ;)

a little chaos (2014): period piece alert! lovely film about the gardens at versailles with a bit of romance/drama and alan rickman and kate winslet back together again on screen since sense and sensibility. i couldn’t resist.  

far from the madding crowd (2015): it’s a thomas hardy adaptation centered on a strong willed independent young woman and her three suitors. the photography is fucking stunning and the cast is amazing, particularly matthias schoenaerts. the story feels a bit rushed, i think it needed another hour or so to set a good pace. but it definitely piqued my interest in reading the book.
