The most frustrating thing for me that a lot of destiel shippers do is change the narrative of the story to mould around destiel, most notably naming Jack the destiel lovechild. I don't know if we watched the same show but Jack canonically has 3 fathers he chose of his own volition and out of those three, Dean was the one who failed him the most while Sam (and Cas) always tried his best to give all his faith to him (until Dean would convince him otherwise). And as a sastiel shipper it's fun to say Cas and Sam are Jack's true parents but that's just me being shippy. Even if Dean was a terrible parent to Jack, he's still his parent for a reason. Even when he fails, he's still important to the narrative due to his shortcomings. His inability to forgive and see past "all monsters should be killed" is only rivalled by Sam's ability to forgive even the most heinous of crimes committed against him and his will to see the humanity in everyone. By acting like Dean always and forever loved Jack while Sam played side uncle is just gross mischaracterization and it makes me wonder if you truly understand Dean as a character at all
