Synopsis: While investigating the murder of a SWAT agent, Jiang Hansheng, researcher in Psychology working for the police, is abducted by the killer he’s trying to catch, Qi Yan, who tortures him during six long days. His ordeal ends when the killer is shot dead during his rescue by the police. Five years later, Jiang Hansheng is a college professor and happily married to Zhou Jin, a police officer, trying to move on. Kyonosuke, forced to become an informant, is soon arrested by a police officer, Katsuragi Akito, who orders him to be an informant for the police instead. Kyonosuke is driven into a hellish position as a "double spy", while he is threatened by the members of the drug cartel he works for.
Notes: I'm not 100% convinced by the story but it was a fun and short whumpy little drama (just as I was complaining about not finding any lol, should have shut my mouth). There's a lot of wall-pinning and size difference (to the point I wonder if it’s not just fojushi-baiting the entire time), and an easy-to-understand plot. To watch when you want to keep your brain inactive but get your fix of whump :')

Playing along while quietly plotting to get him out of the way, the situation gets complicated for Yi-Do when he develops affection for Tae-Jeong.

Notes: It’s the remake of the 2017 movie Fabricated City, with the same main actor Ji Chang-Uk. I was wondering if they would chicken out of what the movie tried to do but didn’t have the time to explore properly, and hum... They didn’t. They actually did a little too much... Episode 2 is a tough watch (pay attention to the tw!), the rest is the regular whump you can expect in this kind of drama. Plot-wise it's not that great; if you want a real good drama of the kind, I recommend the 2017 drama Defendant (피고인), but omg that whump!

Synopsis: After the death of his little sister, Chen Jiachuan (on the left), a special forces instructor, resigns and investigates the case by himself for three years to discover the truth about her death, slowly losing himself in the process. He's suddenly reunited with one of his former students and friend, Bai Fan (on the right), who hopes to stop his downward spiral.
Notes: A classic "enemies (who used to be friends) to lovers" (except it's bromance cause it's chinese) plot. It's not super original but it goes smoothly with endearing characters and nice whump :) Episodes are very short (12 min).
NB: Timestamps might be off (< 1mn) depending on where you watch the show. I do not disclose any character death on purpose. The characters are listed by chronological order of whump in each episode.
