I found my second full odds shiny of Let’s Go! I have a video saved too but it’ll take me a bit to figure out how to get it off of my Switch/Twitter so I can post it ;w; but anyway! What an exciting find! I’m so glad I was able to find AND catch him!! Even though he wasn’t one of my targets I’m already growing attached to him /w\

SHINY CHIKORITA SHINY CHIKORITA!!!!!!!! OH MY FUCKING GOD MY HEART STOPPED I LOOKED DOWN AND IT WAS YELLOW I have no idea how many SRs i just. Jdkdmkskskksk. It took a week to shine! It was the one I wanted!!!!! I'm so happy!!! I can finally start my game!!!!

So, this little baby girl has an interesting story. I’m playing Silver and doing a Nuzlocke with a bit of a special rule, that I can only use items that I’ve found on the ground or have had given to me by other people. It’s been an interesting run to say the least; I’m seven badges in and none of my Pokemon have died yet, even if I’ve accidentally (and semi-intentionally) killed some encounters because I’ve actually run out of Poke Balls. It’s made me have to strategize a lot more than I usually do in Pokemon games, as a result.

So! Fast forward to today, I’m grinding up a few side members of the team just in case something should happen, since I’m rather scared of dealing with Clair, to say the very least. I’m grinding in Olivine, killing Tentacools and Tentacruels by the dozens to evolve up an Ampharos and level up a Pinsir, when THIS happens. Literally, my first full odd shiny in years.

Needless to say, I was realistically afraid that I was gonna lose her; I literally had two Ultra Balls and just about everything I had would wind up killing her, and while it took both of those Ultra Balls to secure her, she’s staying VERY safe and never leaving my sight. 

And...also I’m calling a mulligan on my rules because I couldn’t have expected that to happen, and also, shinies are worth all of the mulligans in the world.

After 1,019 fullodds eggs, Mimikyu has shined! I wasn’t expecting it to shine this quickly in terms of the amount of eggs. While it hurt my fingers sometimes, I’m grateful that it wasn’t terribly long. He’s timid, which isn’t a great nature but I don’t care, I still love him!!!

I found an onion! Travelling from the reset 2015, this thing shines for me! It’s so refreshing to finally have a super under odds hunt after this past year averaging 10,500+ per shin! But, alas, this beaut won’t be staying with me for long. Celebi happens to be my girlfriend’s favorite legendary shin, so it’s gonna make a travel up to Ultra Sun to travel with her! But, I will rehunt this for my own someday, too! Best of luck to all!

It’s been a while since I did anything with my BQ but a lot has also happened in the past year including my apartment being set on fire through means that I couldn’t control or prevent. I’m glad to get back to hunting though! This came after 1718 REs, and was the rarest thing on the route! I feel so lucky. Has a relaxed nature.

I almost forgot to post this! My heartgold badge quest is still alive and well! I found this handsome Growlithe after a solid 24237 REs! Has a Lonely nature. I’m unsure at this time if he’ll be joining my main team.
