I think I can't
Two nights ago, not long after the ‘we are what we do…’ post, I started to sincerely doubt whether I can do this. Not so much the pregnancy as the being alone with a child for the next 18 years. Hell, I’m not sure I can make it a week. Maybe I’ll feel differently when I’ve told some people about the pregnancy. Maybe I’ll feel differently when I have a grip on the fire renovations at the condo and have actually moved back in. Maybe I’ll feel differently when the father and I have worked through some more and I have a better sense of just how alone I’m really going to be… Right now my pessimism is getting the best of me.
