THEY’RE SO DUMB I LOVE IT! I’LL TAKE TWENTY OF THEM!

I really love Kon. 😂 He reminds me of Makoto from Taki Nekoze’s Tone to Makoto and XL Saizu’s Yamamoto. I love dumb sons like these. I initially didn’t have a good opinion on this, and if it wasn’t for Makonyan and Ayumu, I wouldn’t even push through this, but thank god I gave it a chance! This is one of my favorite BLCDs of 2020 so far, and it’s quite well written, too! I wish that there’d be more times where I find out that a shady looking work is not actually shady at all than the opposite. 😩

Moving on to the voice work,

Beautiful! My god, whoever did the casting was a goddamn genius! It’s funny ‘cause I just came from Caste Heaven and Yarichin where Makonyan voiced Senzaki and Ayumu did Yacchan, but to my surprise, they didn’t sound like them at all! I also half-expected to hear Ayumu sound like Hinata because I was doing a Haikyuu marathon (since it’s ending sobsobsob), and although Kon and Hinata look like they should be in the same pitch, they weren’t! Just amazing! 😩 Looks like both Ayumu and Makonyan are starting the year strong! I also love that Ayu and Makonyan both enjoyed working on this BLCD. Though I am a bit worried because I think Makoto lost some of his marbles while recording this. 😂

Ayumu: “I-is that how you wanna go?”

Makonyan: *in English* “Yeah, like come on! Shot shot!”

BOI WACHU SMOKIN???

Man, I’m glad to hear that Makonyan seems to have gotten out of that 2019 slump. This is the first and last BLCD I have on this log where he leads in, but I’m already daring to say that this is my favorite! He’s so expressive, dynamic, and alive here—it’s like 2019 Makonyan didn’t even exist! Ugh. It’s a tad higher than his Van Clive and Senzaki voice, but it still delivers that 🔥🔥🔥 regardless. 😩 See you in Love Nest and Given!

I recommend the BLCD and the manga 100%! There’s a considerable amount of adlibs, but I think that’s understandable given the situation. However, they’re not really major, so I think it would be easy to catch up to especially if you read the manga while listening to it. As I’ve mentioned earlier, it has been officially translated into English by Renta!, so you really can’t go wrong with reading it! It deserves it! Here’s to hoping it gets into the Top Ten for 2020!
