Klaus is and always has been convinced Leon hates him, or has a strong dislike for him. Totally doesn't trust him at all. And in turn he worries that dislike has trickled down onto Sunny.

Aw, poor Klaus. I'm pretty sure that's his own self-hatred projecting onto his older self/"father."

This headcanon hurts my heart though. And I'm guessing it would hurt both Honey's and Leon's if they knew.

i think i've done this one recently so i'm gonna refocus just on my five fav fics of 2024 <3

the idea for this fic grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let go. unconventional sentinel/guide rodney and john for life.

3. someone else's life

playing with the carson/rodney/john dynamic was such a fun treat. thanks to @carsonsweebabyturtles for putting such great prompts out there.

4. wrong side up

the 20th anniversary of sga sparked something in me after nearly 7 months of no inspiration. fun to play with this au!

When or if I started shipping it:

FUNNY STORY. here's a document in my google drive that was created on may 17, 2021.

i got to the kindred on my it could've started like this rewatch, during which i was taking extensive notes about character emotions and interactions for each episode, and lost my entire freaking mind about clone!carson and john.

2. my thoughts:

i suppose carson prime and john are fine too, but only in that i'm a multishipper and anything is fair game.

clone!carson and john tho. ugh. the second chances. the pow bonding times. the guilt that they both have, and how they see each other as redemption, but in entirely different ways. i can't handle it.

LIKE carson has been waiting for more than a year for john to save him. john specifically. and he's built john up as this big hero in his head. and john is there!!! and he is being so kind and nice to carson. and gentle with him. and welcoming him back to the team and the mission when others aren't.

and john!! whose biggest fear is being the cause of his friends' deaths! who blames himself for carson (and elizabeth and teyla and and and)! who has a second chance here!!! like! we see rodney dealing with this too--but rodney wants to protect carson and wrap him up and never let bad things happen to him again. BUT john's more in the vein of. let's respect what carson wants. and listen to him. and bring him on board. and let him do what he needs to do to get back to a good place. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh

(they also make a great double ace ship!)

3. What makes me happy about them:

the angst. the softness. they are so tender around each other. so much hurt/comfort potential. with extra comfort and past hurt.

4. What makes me sad about them:

.... i mean i like the angst. i'm not sad about it lol but they are both sooooo much hurting in s5.

5. things done in fanfic that annoys me:

nothing. well. the fact that there's very few fic out there that are specifically about clone!carson and john. that is annoying.

6. things I look for in fanfic:

uh. clone!carson specifically. lol there are like, 3 on ao3 labeled as such.

oh there's one and it's mine lmao. i know ana wrote one too tho!

7. My kinks:

i'm up for any kinks with them! as kinky or vanilla as they come. they can work thru all their stuff with kink. as a treat.

8. Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

anyone lol. they're both cute with rodney. they're also both good single. aroace john and carson are good. lorne's a good bet with both. and ronon. i'm such a multishipper.

9. My happily ever after for them:

they both leave atlantis and live off world in the pegasus galaxy as the local doctors for a small settlement. it's a quiet life. <3

thank you, friend!! i've been keeping a finger on the x-men fandom and it is forever in my heart, but hasn't been the main thing on my mind for a while! this is fun, but probably a stretch 😂 and mostly based on the movies.

Least Favorite character: i like them all!! they're all fun!!

An unpopular opinion: hank/alex is a terrible ship and squicks so hard. ALSO scott isn't that boring, you guys are just no fun.

when of if I started shipping it: ngl i fought this one. when i started watching the show for real in early 2019, i told myself rodney didn't deserve to be redeemed from sg1 and that i wasn't going to fall into the Big Ship Trap. but dang i really did fall lmao. i love them.

my thoughts: friends to lovers, my beloved. they are so silly dorky and devoted.

What makes me happy about them: the friendship! the saving each other! the talking to each other on the comm! the bickering! all the things!!

What makes me sad about them: as i said before. i love angst. so i'm not really sad about the sad things. they can pine away in repression forever and i will be delighted.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: woobie rodney.

things I look for in fanfic: hurt/comfort. subby john. idk. pining. friends to lovers. quiet realizations. the inevitability of it all. domesticity. shepwhump.

(istg i thought the team was going to kill kolya for john in irresponsible on my first watch and i'm still disappointed)
