I'm adding Ace in here because I can!!! Though I also acknowledge that it is difficult when we only see her in the musical, whereas everyone else has a book and movie portrayal as well. So take that with a grain of salt and know that I love Ace.

6. What are some ships you dislike?

I am not a stevepopper.... That being said I've seen some art and read fics with background stevepop and really enjoyed the way they were portrayed!!

While I find musical Cherrycola cute as a concept, I struggle to get passed the idea of Soda being with a girl his younger brother had a crush on. Similar to Stevepop though, sometimes I see art or read fics and I can really appreciate why some people really like it!

I also don't understand Chetsoda and maybe that's on me for not knowing enough about Chet!!! This is less of a dislike though and more of a "huh?"

10. Least favourite scene/moment?

Oh I don't know if I have a least favorite!! Even the shambly moments serve a purpose. I guess if I absolutely have to pick, I would say that Death's at my Door is my least favorite song in the show? But I don't dislike the scene or the song! It's just...my least favorite.

13. Who do you think is the most well-written character?

This is such a fun question with the Pony-OV, because everything is through his eyes! I'm gonna say Darry, though, because even when Pony is telling us over and over that Darry looks like a rock, acts like a rock, hates him, and wants him dead, it is SO CLEAR that that is not the case. And also, that aside, the nuance of Darrel who is just a kid himself, really, but now has two kids to take care of unexpectedly. And he's tired and he's scared and he's frustrated and he doesn't know what to do with all that so it comes out as anger when in actuality he loves so much! He gave up everything to keep his family together, he wakes up every day and chooses them! He doesn't have to, but he does. And he's imperfect and he messes up, yes. But he's trying.

16. Which characters would you have liked to see interact?

Ace and any of the soc girls.....Two-Bit and Marcia in the musical.....Marcia and Soda could be real fun too, I think.

18. Are there any criticisms or salt you have with the fandom?

I would say I'm not in the fandom enough to have any...sometimes a fandom is a girl and her gf.

20. Which character do you relate to most?

Darry or Soda. Darry as an oldest sibling who would do anything for the younger ones, who tries every day to do right by them and be what they need. And Soda as a peacemaker, who doesn't want to be in conflict himself but is good at smoothing things over. Who is both a bottler and a bawl baby. Who can understand people without them saying a word, and is so emotionally intelligent. I don’t know or maybe I’m Steve

21. Unpopular opinion/s?

I don't know if this is unpopular or not but bring back the previews version of hoods turned heroes.

🍉 smug. smug as hell, I can feel it. he feels like he's a protector, a strong man who can take care of you and make you safe. extra funny if you're taller than him. no diss to your height, but come on, is that NOT funny? but other than that, he's touched that you feel that way about him.

🍉 not many people come to him for safety or comfort, so when he feels you tug or press against his back when something bothers you makes him feel all warm and bubbly inside.

🍉 one of the better ones that can comfort you through this tough time. he'll ask how you're feeling and if you're okay with it, show physical affection, be it by patting your back or even your hands (if you so choose), gently rubbing against your knuckles with his equally soft hands (#get_the_best_skin_from_vil) in a comforting manner.

🍉 he might take it a step closer and ask if he can help you through whatever you're going through. yeah, he's an NRC kid, but for someone he cares for, 'm sure he'll do just that.

Oh the Simon Bricker drabble collection was soo fun to write!!! Let's see some of my favorite lines of narration are:

"The test was over. There were no questions, no speculations, no clarifications needed. Come to think of it, he never asked what she had needed to say. And then, he never even asked why she had left the drawing room the way she had and suddenly, and furiously, Cora fought back the tears that she had trained to keep dry. He had forgotten to even say good night. Tests. All tests. And he had failed."
