My spring break will consist of three days at the beach (all of which will be rainy and cloudy) and three more days after that that are supposed to be great weather, but I will be visiting colleges for my sister. Fun.
All i have is 2 more episodes before i finish season 1!
AND THEN I CAN WATCH THE GAG REEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I have to wake up at 8 AM to go to the DMV tomorrow.
If I go to be now, I'd be get about six and a half hours of sleep.
Top 5 Thursday: Spring Break Set-Up
#
It's February and you're sitting at your desk with the all too familiar mid-semester blues. And you may not be in college anymore (don't worry, me neither), but its okay. It's simply your body's way of saying it's time to plant the Spring Break seed.
Here at Jetsetter we’re planning now for vacations over the next few months with family, friends or your sweetheart be it a beach getaway, an all-purpose family resort or one last ski trip before the season ends. Make the most of Spring Break, the Jetsetter way. Here are my five picks for Spring Breakin-it.
Wanderlust Music & Yoga Festival at The Standard Spa, Miami. Who? For the group of music loving friends in need of sun, sand and South Beach. What makes it special? Be the trendsetter of your friends and discover the best winter getaway for body and soul at the first ever Wanderlust in Miami. Pack your yoga gear and your dancing shoes for the first Wanderlust Yoga + Music Festival in Miami, March 17–20 at the Standard Miami Beach. Flow with yoga masters Elena Brower and Schuyler Grant by day, while British DJ Bonobo, music collective Shaman’s Dream and more provide a live music soundtrack at night. This package includes three nights at the Standard, an all-access pass to the yoga and music festivities, and more.
Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas. Who? "Oh it's for work" - aka. Boys Trip. What makes it special? Vegas has got a new gig in town - catch Tiesto live in the flesh on March 5th, April 2nd or May 7th. With 374 expansive suites set inside a gleaming new tower that’s separate from the rest of this rocker-friendly hotel, the HRH All-Suite Tower offers proximity to hip dining, big-name concerts and the Hard Rock’s famously swish pool parties. Yet with a private lobby and its own Reliquary Spa, the tower pampers its guests with a sense of exclusivity. For high rollers who prefer a youthful, sexy Vegas base camp, the Hard Rock has the perfect balance.
Casa De Las Olas. Tulum, Mexico. Who? Crazy couples in need of some tequila, tanning and taquitos. What makes it special? Chill in a cenote - ancient windows to the underground rivers that flow beneath the Riviera Maya. Sexy. A vacation at this waterfront spot is equal parts romance and relaxation. With only five rooms, the intimate Casa de las Olas is all ocean, sand and sun. Studios and suites have full kitchens, so after days spent on the beach you can spend your nights at the restaurant down the road (there’s no menu and only nine tables) or staying in and dining on your oceanfront balcony.
The Pines Lodge. Beaver Creek, Colorado. Who? Snow-ready singles in need of some active attention. What makes it special? Every season the US Ski team races on a NASTAR course to establish the handicap - race the course and maybe snag a skiier From its slopeside perch above Beaver Creek Village, the Pines Lodge surveys the surrounding Rockies like one of the ospreys that might glide past your balcony. High-tech but low-key, the 60-room property is bordered by White River National Forest but is just minutes from Beaver Creek’s restaurants and chic boutiques. The Pines helps guests get back to nature — but not back to basics. It’s pampering without pretension.
The Mondrian Soho, New York City. Who? For the avant-garde couple who want to party in Manhattan’s hottest new hotel. What makes it special? The Mondrian Soho opened just days ago being there before it is the place to seen makes this Spring Break spot over the top. First the Mondrian took over L.A. and South Beach, creating buzz-worthy scenes in cities that have seen it all. Now the brand is launching in downtown New York (Soho, to be specific), with a 253-room glass-and-steel masterpiece that has even the most jaded residents angling for a peek. With floor-to-ceiling windows, stellar views and a restaurant by Top Chef‘s Sam Talbot, the Mondrian Soho is making major waves in Manhattan.
