Who: LSUTubers What: Trip to Coachella When: Friday, April 10th thru Sunday, April 12th Where: Indio, CA Why: Music... duh.

Hey LSUTubers! It’s that time of year again! The infamous music festival by the name of Coachella is amongst us and what better way to round out spring break than enjoying some good music with some good people? The wonderful people at the social media giant has sprung for an all expense trip out to the sunshine state for all participating LSUTube family member. Housing, travel arrangements, and passes will all be provided. If you’re interested in joining the trip just give your friendly LSUTube representative a call for more information. Pictures are a must! Videos aren’t required (but fun to watch). Fun is an absolute definite! 

So go off, be merry, and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do. (Which let’s be real, isn’t a whole lot.)

Who: LSUTubers What: Trip to New Orleans When: Friday, February 13th thru Tuesday, February 17th Where: New Orleans, LA Why: Mardi Gras!

Hey LSUTubers! It's that time of year again! MARDI GRAS! Where all the eating, partying, and shenanigans go down. 

As a thank you for your hard work, all the people at the social media giant would like to invite you out to New Orleans to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Mardi Gras! With all, or most, expenses paid!

All students will stay at the Royal Sonesta for a 4 days and 4 nights. The luxury hotel is right on the French Quarter where you will be able to see all the goings on of Mardi Gras. You all will be staying in one of the six Bourbon Balcony Entertainment suites on the second floor. 

Each student will be randomly paired with another and roomed in a two bedroom suite. (They include French doors that open onto spacious, covered, wrought iron balconies that wrap around the building, these rooms face Bourbon, Conti, or Bienville Streets. With either one or two bedrooms attached to a parlor, these coveted suites have wet bars and plenty of space for receptions accommodating 50 to 150 people — with a bird’s eye view of the one of most famous streets in the world. Each room features a king size bed with a pillow top mattress, generously sized spa quality toiletries, Complimentary WiFi, mini bar, marble bath, in-room safe, iron & ironing board, blow dryer, and more.) Included in the package is a $600 stipend and $200 room service allowance.

Okay LSUTubers, this is it! Your last video challenge ever! Yeah, we know, it's sad, but not to worry - it'll be a good one. Before we get into it, the YouTube family would like to thank you all for the hard work each of you have put in your videos. Through the months you have showed us the ups and downs of not only college life, but your own personal ones as well. You gave viewers a chance to see that not everything is as perfect as they seem and that though we go through hardships, there is always a way to overcome. 

On the same bandwagon as the two previous challenges have been, we are going to ask you to do something, as a part of your challenge, to make this last one just as personal. You ready?

Pick a place on campus (or anywhere in the city or location your character happens to be) that relaxes you and go there to record your video. Make it somewhere special, and meaningful. Explain to your viewers why you chose that place and what it means to you. Also in this video, reflect on your experience with LSUTube. Good, bad, indifferent - we don't mind, but be honest. Did it open any doors for you? Was it a fun experience? Or did it feel like a mere obligation? Whatever you say, will not be held against you in any way. Feel free to pull examples out of your videos or life to put into it. Then, tell us, where do you see yourself in five years? Was the road to now and then smooth sailing or not? Will you be with the person you are with now? Where will you be living? Are you working your dream job or using your major/minors to good use? Who and where do you see yourself? 

Make this personal and have fun with it. Remember: go big or go home!

Who: Sigma Gamma Sorority What: Pampering Pool Party! When: Thursday, September 25th, 2014 from 12-7 PM Where: Sigma Gamma Sorority House Why: Get to know roses of Sigma Gamma. Bring your bathing suits ladies and prepared to be pampered. The women of red and gold have coordinated with Spa-ahhh Life to bring you a relaxed day by the pool. Come and get your nails done or a nice massage while sipping on virgin cocktails and munching on all your favorite pool-side foods including burgers, chips, and even some healthy alternatives to boot! Each guest will leave with a small spa kit as a parting gift.
