Okay im going to rant again MY BAD 

Theres always this trend with me and that’s when I get emotional or if i fail myself my first reaction is to “blow up” and start complaining and complaining and then it usually takes some time to process my emotions and start looking at it rationally

now im not saying I failed, I got a B and thats great HOWEVER I will say I did have high expectations but I know what I did wrong and I am going to write this paragraph damnit as a self critique art blog bullshit man this started as a backup art blog and now its actually a blog lmfao

The main problem with my papers is to simply put it is a lack of planning. I wanted to do a book cover, poggers, but did I plan? no. I had a basic plot and I decided to do mystery but I did not stick to it, I just wanted to paint whatever I thought looked good and that destroys the entire intention for a design paper. And this is honestly the only reason I see why I missed the mark.

Plannning and taking time is something I struggle with and am trying to improve with. In terms of improvement, in janurary, I could only bring myself to spend no more than an hour on a piece, but now I can spend max 6 hours. 

BUT despite this, I find IGCSE art worth it because it built up confidence and my technical skills. I take this now as more of a “im so proud of what I did, this is the first big art project i’ve ever done and I take myself more seriously”

I always see people say IGCSE art is so lifeless and all, and sometimes I do agree with that because at the end of the day the main thing they do focus on is fine arts/realistic art with deep meaning, but it’s fun to learn new painting skills sometimes u know.

So is this me failing? no? im hot? im so sexy? i never fail at anythig

Can i ask how many requests you have at the moment? I love everything you’ve written and wiuld like to request, but I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed.

I have about 6 requests right now from the last writing prompt, and a couple from previous prompts that I’ve been working on. I plan to write them all if possible, but my pace is always slow since I like taking my time writing and enjoying the process. So while it’ll take time, I eventually try to get to all my asks, so don’t feel hesitant to send them in, I don’t feel overwhelmed since I write slowly anyway, and sometimes one prompt can inspire an idea for another.

Life hack/ Fun tip: If you have a empty Pringles can with the tin bottom you can do - Bloodhound/Caustic/Pathfinder   Tinny/reverb effect You’d want to position your phone half way down the tube or end while recording. Your phone does do okay quality as you can hear here, which is unedited.(course an app can help fix audio quality also) (Plus doing multiple retakes till you get the right one) It was what i first used on some of my video’s before i got to using audacity / Condenser Microphone.
