i was tagged by @freakcliff & my word was VALIANT. This was pretty fun but also very difficult. Rembrandt's real name being Valerie in my fics saved my ass here. Idk if I was supposed to do them all from the same fic but these are all from the same one! Remjax romcom I swear to god I'm coming back for you baby.
V - “Vallie,” Dora said lightly, when Rembrandt sheepishly turned around to face her. She was wearing a plush robe, and she still had rollers in her hair. “You’re here early.”
A - And Rembrandt did let herself pause at that, and she tried hard not to be smiling when Ajax’s hand landed on her shoulder and spun her around.
L - Look left, then right, take a step back like she needed a better point of view.
I - It hadn’t rained much that summer, so Rembrandt had been pretty confident that her old sneakers - scrubbed in the employee bathroom on a slow night - would keep their grip on the battered old brick of the building, and so she was engaging in the classic American pastime of fucking around on a roof.
A - Ajax did in fact buy one regular size and one kid size milkshake, but caved after only a few seconds and handed the larger one to Rembrandt, cursing under her breath the whole time.
N - “No,” Rembrandt said, because if she started agreeing with Ajax she wasn’t sure she’d be able to stop.
T - The Warrior pushed her up against the wall with one arm braced across both her shoulders and a hand over her mouth, correctly predicting that Rembrandt was about to yell something stupid.
