With the crunch of crushed Whopper candies and the sweetness of white chocolate chips, Whopper Blondie Bars are a fun take on traditional blondies. They're simple to make and are great for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup light brown sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup crushed Whopper candies. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually add the butter-sugar mixture, stirring until well combined. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the crushed Whopper candies and white chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
