alright long post is long, and is for gamers and potential non gamers who just wanna help a cause this October (yeah I’m planning this stuff in advance)

the deal behind it is-
gamers play for 25 hours and people donate money to raise funds for childrens hospitals country wide (and in some parts of Canada cause Canada is our hat and hat’s are kinda cool) anyway, yeah so the point of this being shared is I will participate in the gaming/fundraising portion of this even this year along with some friends. I also know a bunch of my friends are gamers and well here be something all of us could do or share to make it more noticed by NON gamers who wanna do something good. IF you can't game for this, please whatever you can do (be it following my twitch channel and bringing others to the streams so that others may follow and lend support) helps
To participate you need only sign up (free) and gather the support of your friends and family through tax-deductible donations to your local CMN Hospital. Then on Saturday, October 25th, 2014 (or any day that works for you!) play any game(s) you want on any platform(s) that you want with anyone you want for as long as you want. (most gamers do this through twitch livestreams to hopefully bring in more donations as well as have someone to watch the gaming (plus it’s fun to game online for an audience, builds the support and morale)
The proceeds from Extra Life stay where they’re raised to support children’s hospitals.
Since 2008, our incredible players have raised more than 8 million dollars, $4 million of which was raised in 2013 alone!
SO if you’re a gamer and think between now and October you can and want to partake in this- Go on and sign up
if you’re not a gamer, know a gamer OR just wanna help out- go on and do so.
Otherwise, here is hoping that come october I’ll be part of this and providing my time and energy to the cause, if so you’ll all know and know where the money can be sent for those kids
(saying it now cause well I gotta go about acquiring a gaming PC as well as some other stuffs and I know some friends- would probably need to do the same and that DOES take time)
I am sharing this with the intent of everyone I follow realizing that myself, thoughts-ever-flowing, our friends Shane, maybe Kyle and a few others (figuring it out as we go kinda lol) are taking part in this. It's 5 months from yesterday so it's gonna blow by and before we know it we'll be seeing 25 hour livestreams raising as much as we can.
